Trylook AI Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trylook AI handles information. This version may display advertising, uses consent-aware advertising and analytics SDKs, and does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Developer display name: Farstar Technology.

1. Information you choose to use

You may select a photo from your device, take a photo with the camera, or choose an image file so that Trylook AI can provide local appearance previews and related editing features. The app may also store your selected styles, favorites, history, language, onboarding progress, and notification preferences on your device.

2. How information is used

Your selected photo is used only to provide the feature you request, such as previewing a hairstyle, beard, glasses, or saving an edited result. Photo processing and app preferences remain on your device unless a feature clearly asks you to use an online service. AI report and AI image features are hidden or fail closed when no approved provider API is available.

3. Permissions

You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Some related features will then be unavailable.

4. Advertising, purchases, consent, and analytics

Trylook AI may display ads and may use Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google's User Messaging Platform consent flow, and related third-party SDK advertising or analytics providers configured through Farstar's release process. These services may process device and app information, coarse location signals, advertising identifiers when available, ad request and impression data, paid callback data, and consent status to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

Trylook AI does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions in this version and does not collect purchase or payment information.

Trylook AI may send limited first-party app event data to Farstar-operated servers to understand whether the app opens, whether onboarding and home screens work, which feature entry points are used, whether ads load or show, and whether errors or funnels need product attention. These events use a pseudonymous app install or session identifier and do not include photos, photo paths, AI prompts, AI responses, report text, purchase receipts, purchase tokens, raw click identifiers, raw advertising unit identifiers, account credentials, or provider secrets.

5. Sharing

Trylook AI does not sell your personal information or photos. We do not share your selected photos, local style history, or favorites with advertising providers. Limited advertising, consent, attribution, and analytics information may be shared with SDK providers or Farstar-operated services as described above.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

Photos, edited results, favorites, history, and preferences created by the app are stored locally on your device. They remain there until you delete them in the app or device storage, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Because this version does not create an account or upload photos for scoring by default, there is no server-side account or photo record to delete for the local preview flow. App event and advertising records are retained only as long as needed for product reliability, usage analysis, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance.

7. Security

We limit access to the permissions and local data needed for the requested features. No method of device storage is completely risk-free, so you should protect access to your device and avoid using photos you do not have the right to use.

8. Adults only

Trylook AI is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

9. Future features and policy changes

A future version may add online AI processing, paid features, or subscriptions. We will not describe those future capabilities as active in this policy. Before enabling them, we will update this policy, the in-app disclosures, and applicable store declarations, and will publish the new effective date.
